Steel pipe 2. Concrete filled PVC pipe 3. Concrete bloc Manufacturing Secure the steel pipe (1) in the middle of the PVC pipe (2) with pieces of wood. Pour concrete and let it dry. Wrap the bottom of the PVC pipe with several layers of newspaper. Secure the column (1 and 2) in the middle of the frame. Pour the concrete and let it dry. Put a mark on the concrete bloc and the PVC pipe. Remove the column from the bloc (3) and remove the newspaper. Caution The PVC pipe may be slightly elliptical. Avoid blocking it in the concrete bloc by turning it in the wrong position. That is why you put a mark on both parts before removing the column from the bloc. The column and the bloc are quite heavy and need to be handled carefully.
